Carolyn Finch, combines her expertise from the business, education and medical worlds to customize programs. She has twenty five plus years of training and development in speech and educational programs for corporations, health care associations, and educational facilities.

As an entrepreneur, she initiated and developed eighteen speech and hearing programs in hospitals, clinics and educational facilities. She also established two retail stores, a mail order business, and a private school.

Most recently she was an organizer and director of a new bank with a unique business philosophy - catering to the foreign speaking population that is rapidly growing in the community of Danbury, Connecticut.

She has been an adjunct/full time professor at Elmira College, Western Connecticut State University, Teikyo Post University, Naugatuck Valley Community Technical College and Gibbs College. She has taught in the Speech/Communication Departments and Business Schools. Among her courses have been:

Carolyn was a seminar leader for Dun & Bradstreet Business Education Services and Time Resources Seminars speaking about Time Management. She is a keynote speaker for many local, state and national businesses and association conferences.

Some of her clients include Duracell, Westinghouse, State Farm Insurance, Clemson University, American Hospital Association, Professional Secretaries International, and many other businesses and associations.

She is the creator of Universal Handtalk, an adjunct to oral communication under environmental difficulties. This system is used in business/manufacturing environments as a communication system where there is noise pollution.

Carolyn is featured in the book Creative Innovators and is the author of Socks Says!, a poetic plea for positive self-image. She has been named in "Who's Who Of American Women", "The Yearbook Of Experts, Authorities And Spokespersons" and "Who's Who In Professional Speaking", and most recently "Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare". She is a member of the National Speakers Association, the NSA New York Tri-State, NSA New England, Connecticut Speakers Association, Association for Women in Communications, and the Connecticut Holistic Health Association.

CERTIFICATE

Since the fear of speaking is aligned with the fear of death, completion of a coaching program, (individual or small group) is awarded with a certificate and a four leaf clover* pin to prevent "death on the platform!"

*The "good luck" from a four leaf clover dates back to the Druids. Certain individuals were selected to be sacrificed during special ceremonies. If one found a four leaf clover they would be spared death.

All Coaching sessions must be scheduled three months in advance.
